INDUSTRIAL MATERIALS

RECYCLABLE BILLBOARDS
PRODUCED COMPLETELY FROM POLYETHYLENE

The outdoor advertising industries use mostly PVC substrates for billboards. PVC billboard substrate is typically made of a polyester fibre core and PVC surface, a material that is difficult to recycle after its primary use. Most of the used PVC substrates end up in our landfills.
In contrast our PE billboard substrate is made from 100% polyethylene plastics and is easily recycled. It is extremely light and strong and therefore is easier for installers to handle. It is durable and non-toxic and creates deep, saturated colour for the most demanding outdoor applications at a price comparable to PVC flex billboards.
Not only can the PE billboard materials be melted down and recycled for use in a wide range of products, but billboard companies can arrange to have used PE billboards collected for recycling by Astron Plastics.
